Governor Rabiu Kwankwaso of Kano State on the 3rd of January, Friday advised Nigerian politicians to guard against utterances capable of causing overheating for the polity.
.
He gave the advice when a delegation of the All Progressives Congress (APC) led by Sen. Kabiru Gaya paid him a courtesy call at Government House, Kano.
.
The governor urged politicians to shun the politics of do- or-die and the use of public office for self- aggrandizement.
.
He also urged political office holders to use their positions to positively change the lives of the people.
.
In his remark, the leader of the delegation, Sen. Gaya called on the people in the state to support the governor to move the state forward.
.
He commended Kwankwaso for his efforts at transforming the state.
.
Also in the delegation were a former presidential candidate, Alhaji Bashir Tofa, former ANPP Secretary, Alhaji Ado Kabir, a former gubernatorial aspirant, Sheikh Ibrahim Khalil, and Alhaji Barau Jibrin, a former member of the House of Representatives, among orders. (NAN)
Does anyone need to tell them? Do they need anyone to say to them that this is the direction to follow? If they do then there is a problem.
This is an information the politicians of this country should take seriously. They have to.
Yes i totally agree with this one. It's about time they stick to what they know and drive home their point reasonably.
The politicians we have in Nigeria like to talk so sometimes they talk out of point. The sentence is for them.
This is a tangible advice for whoever cares to listen.
