BT Sport is reporting that Croatian striker Mario Mandzukic wants to stay at the Allianz Arena despite the inevitable arrival of Polish striker Robert Lewandowski in the summer.
.
Mandzukic's agent, Ivan Cvjetkovic, sees no reason for the player to leave the club.
.
He's been quoted by Italian newspaper Tuttosport as saying: "Mandzukic is focusing on Bayern Munich and after the end of this season, he still has two years on his contract and he is happy in Munich."
.
He went on to add: "Guardiola rates Mandzukic a lot and he's shown that over the first half of the season."
.
With top names such as Mandzukic, Ribery, Pizzaro and Robben, Munich have more than enough quality in their line-up to retain their Champions League crown and are head and shoulders above the rest in the league.
.
They lead Bayer Leverkusen by a comfortable seven- point margin at the top and look well on their way to achieving yet another Bundesliga title.
.
Mandzukic has netted ten times for Bayern so far this campaign, and is just one behind future Bayern player Lewandowski.
.
The 27-year-old Croatian has been a constant figure in Pep Guardiola's side this season, whilst the manager tends to play a system that is based around playing just one striker. Despite wanting to stay, his days may be numbered with Lewandowski's imminent arrival.
.
With the likes of Mandzukic and Lewandowski soon to be at the disposal of Guardiola, could he change his tactics in an attempt to accommodate the pair? With the quality of both players it is a pairing that would strike fear into any back four in the world.
.
Whilst Juventus are rumoured to be interested, the player's agent believes that a move to Italy will not be happening due to Mandzukic being loyal to Munich.
.
He is quoted as saying to Tuttosport: "Juventus? Mandzukic is fully focused on Bayern Munich. He has a contract for two more years after this season and he's feeling very good in Munich."
Players like this should just swallow their pride and join Arsenal FC to help them win a trophy after all this years. They wan die for Germany?
