The embattled former Speaker of the House of Representatives, Mr. Dimeji Bankole, has asked the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission to apologise to him for the public humiliation and denial of personal liberty the anti-graft agency has caused him.
Bankole said, "the EFCC should apologise to me for unlawful detention and discomfort to me and family since Sunday, June 5, 2011."
The ex-speaker equally said that, no court had the jurisdiction to try him for anything done while carrying out his official duties as the Speaker.
"The EFCC acted maliciously, recklessly and with impunity in the manner it treated the accused/applicant before and during the arraignments," Bankole added.
Oh! Naija... What kind of apology? Letsc us wait to read EFCC's response.
What apology does he demand? It is obvious that an average Nigerian Politician have no iota of shame, about their evil deeds. They brag about their nasty act openly.
Lets wait and see what EFCC has to say to Bankole's request.
Is EFCC a toothless bulldog?
