QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS FOR ACADEMIC STAFF VACANCIES AT FEDERAL POLYTECHNIC ADO-EKITI
Chief Lecturer: CONTISS 14
Holder of a Doctorate degree in the relevant field(s) from a recognised institution with at lest 12 years of teaching applied research industrial work experience OR a holder of a Master degree in the relevant field(s) from a recognised institution with at least 14 years of teaching applied research and industrial work experience.
Principal Lecturer: CONTISS 13
Holder of a Doctorate degree in the relevant field(s) from a recognised institution with at least 9 years of teaching applied or research in institution of higher learning OR a holder of a Master degree or appropriate post-graduate qualification from recognised institution with a minimum of 11 years of relevant cognate experience.
Senior Lecturer: CONTISS 12
Holder of Ph.D with at least 6 years cognate experince OR holders of a Master's degree from a recognised institution with at least 6 years on-the-job cognate experience with proven ability for applied research and production work.
Lecturer I : CONTISS 11
Holder of a Doctorate degree in the relevant field's from a recognised institution of higher learning with at least three years of teaching/research in an instituion of higher learning industrial experience and contribution to Scholarly Publications OR holder of Master's degree in relevant field from a recognised institution of higher learning with at least five years teaching/research in an institution of higher learning OR equivalent professional qualification(s) in the relevant field's with at least 7 years teaching / research / industrial experince.
Lecturer II:. CONTISS 09
Holder of a good honours degree or equivalent professional qualification plus a minimum of 5 years relevant Post-graduate teaching/research/industrial experience OR a Master's degree in the relevant field from a recognised institution plus at least 3 years teaching experience or a doctorate degree in the relevant field from a recognised institution.
Lecturer III:. CONTISS 08
Holder of Master's degree in relevant field from a recognized University with NYSC Certificate plus evidence of Post Secondary Teaching qualification OR holder of a good honours degree or equivalent recognized professional qualification in relevant field with at least 3 years relevant experience plus evidence of Post Secondary Teaching qualification.
NB: The Polytechnic is willing to fill positions of Senior Lecturer, Principal Lecturer and Chief Lecturer by either pensionable or contract appointment.
