The Vice-Chancellor, Professor Patrick Oladipo Aina has lifted the ban on the students Union Activities, consequently the election has been scheduled to hold on 12
th and 14
th February, 2014.
Before that time, there will be constitution of members of the Students Union Electoral Committee, filling of nomination forms and campaigns, screening of candidates for the election and the manifesto day.
According to the time-table, the new Students' Union Executives would be sworn-in on Monday, 31
st March, 2014. The Vice-Chancellor has therefore urged students and those contesting for positions to be peaceful during and after the exercise.
