The State Security Service (SSS) has so far cleared 30 ministerial nominees, whose names were submitted to it by President Goodluck Jonathan.
According to reports, the list includes World Bank Managing Director, Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, who was being considered for finance minister with additional broad powers over economic management.
The appointment of World Bank Managing Director, Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, should bring economic changes in Nigeria.

As at press time, the full list of the 30 nominees cleared by SSS was not reviewed.
However, a source close to the federal government, who pleaded anonymity said the list included a former Minister of Petroleum, Mrs. Deziani Alison-Madueke; Chief Godwin Orubebe (Niger Delta); Chief Adetokunbo Kayode (Defence); Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala (World Bank Managing Director) and the acting chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, Dr. Haliru Bello.
