Job description: – Reporting to the Regional Sales Director, your role will include managing all assigned accounts and executing channel sales in your territory to ensure growth targets are achieved. The channel includes selling to distributors, systems integrators & Original Equipment Manufacturers. You will also be expected to support and assist End-Users and Consultants to specify the correct products for their applications. – Working in close cooperation with the Global accounts, Customer and Sales Support departments, this position will provide a dedicated resource to support all existing customers and additionally target new opportunities on behalf of HID Global.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Manage all existing accounts throughout your assigned territory coordinating all sales channels
• Increase the sales of HID Globals product portfolio reaching the target and goals set for your territory
• Build and maintain relationships with new and existing customers
• Monitor and evaluate the channel activities on a regular basis, collecting customer feedback and market research
• Implement territory sales plans to accommodate corporate goals
• Analyse market to determine customer needs, price schedules and discount levels
• Represent the company at trade shows or association meetings as necessary
• Deliver sales presentations to key clients
• Develop market presence, working across all business segments offering solutions to the customer base
• Maintain and expand the customer base where necessary
• Service all needs of your assigned customers
• Increase business opportunities though new and innovative routes
• Compile and analyse sales figures reporting into management on regular basis
• Maintain an up to date knowledge of all products and competitor data
Environment:
• Home office based
• Approximately 70% travel and fieldwork. Must be able to travel as necessary and posses a valid drivers license
• International travel may occasionally be required, therefore you must possess a valid passport
Desired Skills and Experience:
Qualifications and Experience:
• Minimum of a Business related HND or Equivilent
• Proven experience in channel management and ability to hit sales targets
• Previous experience of selling Physical Access Control solutions, would be a distinct advantage.
Skills and Abilities:
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to work as a self starter, but also a work effectively as part of a team
• Hands on attitude with the ability to manage multiple projects, successfully prioritising
• Read and anticipate important market trends and drivers from Journals, tradeshows, business publications etc.
• Write presentations that conform to the prescribed business style and format
• Good business sense with the ability to become a 'trusted advisor'
• Excellent planning, prioritization and organisational skills with the ability to adhere to deadlines
• Show good initiative and enthusiasm to colleagues
• Able to work calmly under pressure
• Good IT, budget report writing skills
