Roles and responsibilities:
• Inventory Management: Maintain acceptable and accurate inventory levels in all the stores of the organization. Report shortages, overages and all inventory levels on a monthly basis for replenishment. Ensure proper classification, labeling and warehousing of all inventory. Communicate with relevant departments and the Contract & Procurement team on inventory levels and locations.
• Record Management and Budgeting
• Develop and implement policies and procedures for the maintenance and management of proper inventory levels across the company.
• Prepare annual working capital budgets to cover the replenishment of stock items in any given year.
• Participate in the preparation of the company's business planning process by supplying a forecast of working capital requirements in the plan period. Maintain a record of all inventory transfers and disposals.
• Implement and follow a controls system to ensure that all critical spares are readily available and also to reduce damage, breakage, corrosion, and stock obsolescence.
• Ensure that stock items are organized in a logical manner that guarantees high value storage and retrieval.
• Audit and Reporting
• Conduct periodic audit and ensure physical counts are conducted according to company policy and requirements.
• Supervise reconciliation of stock records for a complete and accurate count. Issue monthly report on stock items the company, highlighting old and new stock availability and usage patterns.
• Supervision and Managerial: Develop Mentor, motivate, and assess performance of team members regularly.
Skill set:
• Must demonstrate high sense of professionalism in inventory management
• Proficiency in project management and computer software including Microsoft office suite and financial applications

Highest qualification: Master's Degree
