Arsenal captain, Cesc Fabregas, is willing to sacrifice a £5million windfall to secure his dream move to Barcelona.
Fabregas has a clause in his contract that entitles him to 15 per cent of the cash from any move away from the Emirates.
The Gunners turned down a £27m bid from barca this week.
But Barca are set to return with an improved offer that could be as high as £33m, with Fabregas giving up his £5m share to force through the transfer.
Fabregas is keen to leave Arsenal on good terms after eight years in north London and hopes his gesture will oil the wheels on a move back to his boyhood club.
