The search for peace and lasting solution to the incessant hostilities between Tiv farmers and Fulani nomads in Nasarawa and Benue states failed at the weekend when Fulani leaders backed out of a peace meeting, forcing the two governors, Umaru Tanko Al-Makura and Gabriel Suswam to talk only to Tiv community leaders at Yelwata, venue of the meeting.
