Key Responsibilities:
• To assure the quality of company products through designing, implementing, and continuously improving quality management systems and programs
• To provide technical support for all process qualifications and product development and controls activities to ensure that the company's products adheres to the required quality and standards ensuring reduced risk to the business.
• Ensure risk assessment for all projects from a consumer's mindset
• Develop andmanage the Standard Operation system through improved documentation activities to ensure all vital processes are adequately covered with relevant operational procedures.
• Ensure that all factory documents are created after review of all approved and published documents.
• Manage all quality projects relating to the company's operations in Nigeria
• Review and approve Quality Agreement and incoming consignment inspection for approval /rejection.
• Direct training of staff and follow up on Good Manufacturing Practice programs to ensure effective product total quality built-in.
• Conduct and manage the quality audits (and make corrections) for all internal processes and external suppliers of goods/services that have direct or indirect impact on product quality/integrity.
• Develop,implement, audit and continuously improve systems and programs that make up thecompany's Quality Management System
Key Requirements:
• Minimum of B.Pharm / B.Sc.in Pharmacy, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Industrial Chemistry or Pharmaceutical Chemistry.
• Possession of an M.Sc degree is an added advantage
• At least 3 years cognate experience in the Chemical, Food & Beverage, Pharmaceuticals industry
• Practical experience in R&D, product development and quality auditing.
• Ability to workin teams
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• High level ofintegrity,
• Report writing skills
• Extensive knowledge of international quality management systems and standards (such asISO 9001)
• Excellent knowledge of risk assessment, process validation, problem solving tools, new product development/R&D and sound auditing skill
