PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES:
• Business Transformation Services (BTS) provides industry specific business consulting to SAP strategic accounts, delivering business, innovation and transformation competencies.
• BTS's industry expertise enables customers to execute on their strategy and drive sustainable business outcomes from SAP.
• BTS orchestrates the competencies of all groups within SAP in order to ensure value realization for SAP Top Accounts in structured long-term engagements.
• The Global BTS Strategic Industries Team will provide community leadership, scale regional sales and delivery expertise, enable sales, and nurture thought leadership such that it aligns with SAP Strategic direction, leverages assets globally, regionally, and helps customer achieve the desired business outcomes of their business transformations.
EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS:
• Develop business: Build a shared vision and joint practice model to advance Value Partnerships in key strategic industries.
• Align with Industry Business Units, Industry Value Engineering, and Global Delivery teams to develop GTM strategy and create expanded opportunities for customer innovation and expanded license and service footprints.
• Support sales excellence: develop a GTM plan with/for each of the regions to focus on new and existing market opportunities in key industries. Enable the regional BTS teams and regional services heads to drive their VPS/Industry Go-to-Market through education, coaching, on site team guidance Support by providing knowledge transfer, sales enablement offerings.
• Sell and Establish Value Partnerships in key Strategic Industries: with each region's plan -lead, co-lead, support and drive the sale of the Value Partnership offering.
• Set up and establish for the ongoing delivery within the region.
• Enhance service offerings: Build in relevant industry content to enhance VPS offering for key industry
• Act as a thought leader: demonstrate knowledge through market and community engagement i.e. high degree of social media engagement, keynote presentation delivery, active role in fostering community.
• Build/Contribute to SAP wide thought leadership content/assets that showcase BTS expertise.
• Build Community: Lead and facilitate the BTS industry community.
• Enable the continuous adoption of the industry focused content offerings by the services teams in the regions (e.g. trainings, briefings)
• Represent your strategic Industry to SAP executives, analysts and during events
• Review and quality-assure existing engagements
• Enable SAP account managers to create an industry/customer specific value proposition, initiate and drive the sales cycle
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:
• The ideal candidate for the position will be a chief consultant with proven leadership skills, at least 12 years of experience in the management consulting industry, with specific expertise in the Public Sector.
• The candidate should have experience working on international, virtual teams.
• Experience working with big 4 firms in this industry and mastery of industry processes from a business perspective is necessary.
• Minimum requirement for education includes a master level degree in business or equivalent education.
• Candidates should have experience developing content; selling and delivering services that empower regional leaders to optimize the value of their businesses through best-in-class industry knowledge, processes, organization and solutions.
WORK EXPERIENCE:
• Mandatory: +12 years professional work experience as Chief Consultant in a top management or strategy consulting firm
• Reputation as industry thought leader and well-established network within the Financial Services Industry
• Experience of working effectively in a matrix organization and with virtual teams
• Multi region and global experience
