Job Title: Sales and Marketing Associate

Our client is part of one of Africa's largest and leading hotel group with 60 bedrooms. Catering for the business and leisure guest, this four-star hotel has an array of facilities, including a restaurant, cocktail bar, lounge, pool area, 24-hour room service, executive boardroom and Wi-Fi access. They now require a 2 x Sales and Marketing Resource Associates to work with the new Marketing Director for the hotel.
Key Responsibilities:
• Build strong strategic relationship with corporate clients
• Identify, develops and maintain sales objectives, sales plans, and programs in accordance with the hotel's mission
• Maintain high visibility in the Corporate and hospitality communities using various mediums
• Maintain all sales systems, such as sales records and reports, conference calendar, traces of history and potentials, logs of groups not previously accommodated and mailing lists
• Design new programs and marketing campaigns, to develop additional sales from the various market niches
• Ensure the prompt and systematic servicing of all business accounts (i.e., tracing, booking, contracting, communicating with hotel departments, and following up with group for feedback and future bookings)
• The overall responsibilities for the successful candidate is to generate revenue and increase market share for the hotel
Key Requirement:
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Marketing, Business Administration, Economics or other relevant discipline.
• Minimum of 4 years' Sales or Marketing experience in a top-tier corporate organization or a similar environment within the hospitality sector
• Proven track record of achieving set organizational targets (will be verified)
