Job Title: Specialist, Communication and Merchandising (regional)

Job Summary:
• Ensure optimal stock levels in sales outlets and high quality in-store merchandising in assigned region.
Principal Functions:
• Develop first drafts of quarterly planograms, new product launch memos and signage in assigned region
• Create optimal product awareness in sales outlets by ensuring that relevant communication tools are available at all times e.g. handbills, flyers in assigned region
• Perform in-store merchandising in compliance with defined standards and manage stock levels to ensure constant replenishment of stock.
• Liaise with Engineering, IT, Sales, Marketing, Product and Services, and Customer Care teams, to ensure delivery of seamless sales operations support to the sales outlets in assigned region
• Ensure availability of brand materials and merchandise at events, exhibitions, trade fairs, conferences in assigned region
• Liaise with trade partners/distributors/dealers to ensure that they comply with agreed SLAs and escalate merchandising issues to the Head, Regional Sales as appropriate.
• Implement approved improvement initiatives to ensure enhanced performance of the team.
• Attend team meetings as required.
• Prepare/compile agreed periodic activity and performance reports for the attention of the Head, Regional Sales.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by the Head, Regional Sales
Educational Requirements: First degree or its equivalent in a relevant discipline.
Experience,Skills & Competencies: Three (3) to five (5) years relevant work experience.
