Cross River State governor, Liyel Imoke, has said that the state is set to pay the N18,000 minimum wage.

Imoke disclosed this while receiving the leadership of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) led by its president, Abdulwaheed Omar, during the latter's courtesy visit to Calabar, said the state was obliged to pay in line with the stated structure through a well articulated readjustment.

In his speech, he congratulated Omar for his victory to serve another tenure.
