The University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN) has got a new Vice Chancellor in the person of Professor Uchenna Chinedu Ozumba, a professor of medical microbiology.

He will replace the outgoing VC, Prof. Bartho Okolo whose tenure has expired after five years in office.

Professor. U.C. Ozumba, until his appointment as Vice-Chancellor, was the Head of Department of Medical Microbiology, University of Nigeria Teaching Hospital UNTH, Itulu-Ozalla.

He hails from Anambra State.
