2011 BU Vice-Chancellor's Postgraduate Degree Scholarship at Bournemouth University, UK
The BU Vice-chancellor offers scholarship to students who have applied to study a taught postgraduate (Masters) degree at Bournemouth University, UK entry September 2011.
Eligibility:
Nationals of the following countries, who are residing in their home country at the time of application and required to pay fees as the international (non-EU) rate are eligible to apply.
• Ghana
• India
• Nigeria
• Thailand
• Vietnam
Scholarship courses:
All full-time BU Postgraduate Courses.
Scholarship worth:
50% of tuition fee payable for the standard duration of the course (excludes repeat units/years).
Scholarships are paid by a reduction in tuition fee or cheque.
Number scholarships awarded annually:
Ten (two for each eligible country)
Scholarship Criteria:
• You must be able to demonstrate an exceptional academic profile (equivalent to UK 1st Class Honours degree as assessed by NARIC)
• You must be able to demonstrate an outstanding personal profile as evidenced in your personal statement.
• Recipients of this scholarship cannot be in receipt of any other BU scholarship
• Financial need will not be taken into consideration.

Application Deadline:
The deadline for applications is 31 July 2011 although you can apply at the same time or after you have submitted your course application form.
Successful applicants will normally be informed by 31 August 2011. Although we may contact you with a decision in principle based on any predicted grades, your award will not be formally approved until you hold an unconditional firm offer.
