The Joint Matriculation and Admission Board JAMB Candidates in the just concluded Computer Based Test CBT exam has called for the adoption of the computer mode of examinations in all higher institutions in Nigeria.

Mr Tosin Alabi, a candidate said that the mode of examination would be of great benefit to the students as the mode is an advanced system of conducting examinations all over the world.

Adding that the system would encourage students to study more with the help of computers and be familiar with the latest applications on the information and communication technology.

Another candidate, Miss Esther Aderanti, said "The CBT mode should be adopted to end cheating, sorting and selling of grades to undeserving students.

"Nobody will sell grades to the highest bidders as is being done presently in our institutions," she added.

In her own submission remarks, Miss Kasarachi Anozie, said that the CBT exam would enhance accuracy in results and data processing and will encourage youths to develop interest in ICT, as well as explore the various opportunities on the internet.

Mr Isah Yakubu, finally said that the computer-based test was better than the old system and should be adopted at all levels of education in the country.
