Coming at the conclusion of its Computer Based Test CBT UTME, the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board JAMB has urged the government and private institutions to use the CBT method in the conduct of public examinations.
.
A JAMB official, Mr Fabian Gabriel, made the disclosure while giving a feedback on the conduct of the CBT exam which he described as the best mode of examination.
.
Gabriel said that the JAMB CBT exam gave equal opportunity to candidates who are desirous of qualitative education while also stating that the exam is very flexible in that it can be conducted anywhere even inside the prison.
.
He noted that about 250 prisoners wrote the CBT UTME this year which is an encouraging sign that CBT will ease the rigors of conducting an exam of UTME's magnitude.
.
The CBT examination which started on Saturday May 17, ended on Monday, June 2.
.
All Nigerians are urged to support the drive to revamp the nation's education, as there is no going back on the full blown CBT from 2015.
