One of the merits of the newly introduced Computer Based Test (CBT) by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) for its Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) is that the exam mode is accessible to all even the physically challenged candidates.
.
A JAMB official, Mr. Johnson Adebiyi, said that the CBT mode had made it possible for a physically challenged student to partake in the exercise using her toes.
.
The disabled candidate, Miss Unotoma Hannah, who could not use her fingers, was opportune to use her toes in the CBT mode which was an encouraging sight to behold as she overcame her disability to write the UTME.
.
Adebiyi, who said that Unotoma passed the examination with an aggregate score of 219, urged other examination bodies to embrace the CBT mode as it is the way forward for public examinations.
