Oyo state governor, Abiola Ajimobi, on Wednesday, initiated a process to probe his predecessor, Adebayo Alao-Akala, as he inaugurated a contract review committee to look into all the contracts awarded by the immediate past administration in the state.

The seven-member committee, which has eight weeks to submit its report, is headed by Mr O.A Osiberu, while Mr A.I Adenrele is the secretary. Others are Messrs Cliff Enobun; S.O Amusan; Femi Adetunji and A.W Gbadegesin.

Governor Ajimobi said the committee was not targeted against any person or group, explaining that the action was motivated by his administration's determination to encourage due process and transparency in the conduct of its business.
