Members of Staff of Ekiti State University are getting ready for trials and screening exercise for athletes who will represent the University at the forthcoming Sports Competition scheduled to hold at the University of Benin.
In a release signed by the Assistant Director of Sports, J.A Adesogan, selection of athletes will be on merit while members of staff are to express their talents and skills during the screening exercise.
Registration of athletes closed on 20th June, 2014, Trials and selection begins on 23rd June and ends on 30th June, 2014.
Fourteen Sports Coordinators have also been chosen across all units and departments for this purpose. Athletes will be put on trials to select the best that will represent the University.
Other areas are: Football, Table Tennis, Badminton, Scrabble, Draught, Dart and Volleyball
