Job Profile: – This is a Manager position reporting to the Director Research, Measurement and Results with a dotted line report to the Gates Project Director. – The successful candidate will ensure that routine tracking, data collection, analysis and documentation are utilized to showcase progress and success of the project. – S/He will ensure that routine data collected from field implementation are collated and expeditiously entered into DHIS2 database. – S/He will oversee the tracking, analysis and reporting of Maternal and Neo-natal Health (MNH) data from Gombe and Adamawa States. – S/He will implement the project performance results framework, which includes planning, design and implementation of studies, surveys and related data and information collecting activities for the MNH. – S/He will lead the monitoring and data quality checks on all project indicators, track project results framework indicators data, and disseminate M&E data and information regularly to stakeholders. – S/He will build capacity of MNH project partner organisations and stakeholders to implement M&E.

Qualifications/Experience:
• Must possess a first degree in Sciences Medical/ Behavioural/Social Sciences or its equivalent in a relevant field.
• Must have minimum of 5 years post NYSC experience in implementing monitoring and evaluation of health and related programmes.
• Must have considerable expertise in mixed- methods (qualitative and quantitative) M&E and research. S/He must possess ability to analyse and interpret both quantitative and qualitative data to inform programming.
• Must be proficient in the use of SPSS, STATA, Epi Info or CS Pro.
• Knowledge of DHIS database software will be of added advantage.
• Experience with conducting monitoring visits, utilising checklist and other tools, including ability to develop M&E protocols are as tools as needed.
