The former Vice-Chancellor of University of Lagos (UNILAG) , Prof Ade Ajayi, died at the University College Hospital, Ibadan on Saturday after a brief illness.

He was aged 85. Born in Ikole Ekiti, Ekiti State on May 26 1929.
