The Vice-Chancellor of University of Benin (UNIBEN), Professor Osayuki Oshodin, has resumed work after spending two months of treatment in London over ailment allegedly connected to food poisoning.

Prof Oshodin who made a shock appearance in office on Monday presided over the meeting of Appointment and Promotion of Board of the University, where members of the management staff sang and praised God for his return.

Meanwhile, members of the Senior Staff Association of Nigerian Universities (SSANU), National Association of Academic Technologists (NAAT) and Non Academic Staff Union of Universities (NASU), released a statement berating those that called for the VC's removal and described them as selfish and driven by greed.
