The Yaba College of Technology (YABATECH), Lagos held the matriculation ceremony of about 4,907
freshers admitted in the 2013/2014 academic session.

The Rector, Dr Margret Ladipo, congratulated the
students and urged them not to take their academic pursuit lightly as they are the lucky ones out of over 110,000 applicants that applied for admission into the institution.

She challenged the students to abide by the college's rules to ensure their success, saying management had made necessary arrangements for a hitch-free academic year.

Dr Ladipo added that the College would not tolerate indiscipline and involvement in anti-social activities, such as cultism, examination misconduct and other vices.
