Bauchi state coordinator of the NYSC, Mr Abraham Tizhe, has assured members of the Batch "B" of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) posted to Bauchi, safety during their orientation program, and their welfare in the state during the service year.
Speaking with newsmen on Tuesday, he said, he held series of meetings with security personnel, the police, the State Security Service (SSS) and the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) in the state, all of whom, he said, had given the assurance of their readiness to provide adequate security for the serving corps members and the new ones posted to the state.
"On my arrival in Bauchi State, I held a meeting with the security chiefs, comprising the commissioner of police, the director of the SSS, the commandant of the NSCDC, among others and they had assured us that the corps members will be secured," Tzihe stated.
