Flying Eagles coach, John Obuh, has urged his strikers to make the most of the chances they create at the FIFA U-20 World Cup in Colombia, which will kicks off on July 29.
On Wednesday the Flying Eagles began their preparation for the competition in Portugal.
"We need to score more goals, make the most of the many chances we create in any game.
"Any mistake at the World Cup will be costly so we just have to take our chances from now on."
"Ghana won the African Youth Championship in 2009 and went on to win the World Cup in Egypt. That is what is expected of us, but first we have to achieve some targets before we get there.
"You as a player will first need to make my final squad of 21 players. Then in Colombia, we have to get out of our first round group and continue to advance all the way to winning the trophy," Obuh said.
Nigeria are drawn in a first round along with Croatia, Guatemala and Saudi Arabia.
