The 39th and 40th convocation
ceremonies of the University of Benin (UNIBEN) is scheduled to hold from Wednesday 19th to Sunday, 23rd November, 2014 for the 2011/2012 and 2012/2013 academic session graduates.

At the convocation press briefing by the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Godwin Oshodin, he said that a total of 19,472 graduands will receive their certificates with 118 students baggin first class degrees.

He said that the award of certificates, diplomas and first degrees, which would hold on November 20, would be proceeded by a convocation lecture to be delivered by the Vice Chancellor of Lancaster University, Professor Mark Smith.

Prof. Oshodin added that 130 of the graduates would be awarded with doctorate degrees.
