The United States, United Kingdom and some European countries have warned the Federal Government not to enter into any negotiation with Boko Haram, who have killed many innocent citizens and destroyed properties worth millions of Naira in many parts of Northern Nigeria, since the beginning of the year.
A top security official confirmed to newsmen that the Western powers had advised President Goodluck Jonathan against going into negotiation with the members of the sect, who have claimed responsibility for detonating several improvised explosive devices in some states of the North and the Federal Capital Territory.
The Western Powers advised the federal government to fish out the members of the sect, who are causing havoc in the nation, and make them face the wrath of the law.
