Few days after three students were charged for beating their teacher in Oshogbo, Osun state, another ugly incident of assault took place at Obosima Secondary Technical School, Ohaji-Egbema, Imo State.

This time it was a female teacher that was attacked by male students for reprimanding a female student of the school who dressed indecently.

The teacher, Mrs. Mary-Ann Oguezuonu, who is nursing her five-month old baby, cautioned a female JSS2 student who changed her school uniform into a skimpy outfit and threatened that the college authorities would send her packing if she wore such an indecent dress to school again.

However, this did not go down well with a male SS1 student, by name Chimaobi Precious Agu, who jumped into the classroom and rudely confronted the teacher on why she was embarrassing the female student.

The male student was promptly punished by other teachers of the school for insulting Mrs. Oguezuonu.

This prompted other members of his gang, suspected to be cultists, to mobilize and attack the teachers in the staff room with cutlasses.
