Job Title: Project Lead - Civil / Structural Engineer

Job Description:
• Duties will include equipment selection and specification, detail design in collaboration with designers and bid evaluation/ vendor document review and approval.
• Develop and promote initiatives to improve cost effectiveness of Discipline engineering work across assets
• Professional technical support to projects (ranging from feasibility studies through to large EPC contracts)
• Train and supervise junior engineers
• Quality Assurance – Responsible for working within the provisions and guidelines of the Quality Assurance system relevant to the Oil & Gas Business Unit.
• Safety – Responsible for personal safety safe working practices for the Oil & Gas Business Unit. Understand and follow OH&S procedures.
• Other tasks as assigned by supervisor
Job Requirements:
• Carry out development and detailed design engineering activities, including co-ordination with the various discipline groups
• Experience with the development of layouts for new facilities
• Experienced in the specification, evaluation and documentation of equipment for producing oil/gas fields
• Application of knowledge to add value
• Expert knowledge of Health, safety and environment in design, Understanding and implementation of engineering and design process
• Equipment design, specification and procurement activities, Designs for constructability, commissioning, operations and maintenance, etc
• 10 Years Civil/Structural design experience in the Oil & Gas environment, including a minimum of 5 years experience in offshore developments.
• Engineering Degree in a relevant discipline

Job Requirements:
• Proven capability for managing a large number of personnel and/or complex technical situations is required, as well as familiarity with industry practices and current technology.
• 20+ years of related work experience, including supervisory/managerial experience within a large Engineering firm is required. Professional registration with active membership in a professional society is also required
• Bachelor degree in Engineering (or related field)
