The Lagos State University (LASU), Ojo, has admitted about 2,000 students for the 2014/2015 academic session.

The Dean, Students Affairs Division of the institution, Prof. Kabir Akinyemi, made this known during the announcement of events to mark the matriculation ceremony.

Akinyemi said: "Although we are still compiling the total number of students that will be matriculated, it cannot be less than 2000 students."

He added that the university authorities expected all the newly-admitted students offered provisional admission and cleared during screening to have paid their school fees by now.
