(LASU), Professor John Obafunwa, has urged students of the institution to shun violence during the forthcoming general elections.

Obafunwa advised students to perform their civic duties, make right choices, vote wisely and stay away from violence during the elections.

"Students should evaluate, decide and their choices should not be based on stomach infrastructure. Perform your civic duties and stay away from violence.

"Do not allow anyone to use you to foment trouble as there is life after the university," the bulletin quoted the VC as saying.
