Centre for Preliminary and Extra-Mural Studies of the Federal University of Technology, Minna (FUTMINNA) invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for admission into the one year preliminary degree programme for the 2011/2012 session.
The University runs various Science and Technology based degree programmes in the following Schools: Agriculture and Agricultural Technology, Engineering and Engineering Technology, environmental Technology, Science and Science Education, School of Information and Communication Technology, School of entrepreneurship and Buisness Management Technology.
Entry Requirements:
• To qualify for admission, a candidate must have at least five (5) credits including English Language, Mathematics and in any three of the following subjects: Physics, Chemistry, Economics, Biology/Agricultural Science/ Science and Geography at SSCE, NECO, GCE O' Level NABTEB or Teachers' Grade II Certificate examination.
• The results obtained should not be earlier than 2007 and not more than two sittings.
Method of Application:
(a) Application forms are obtainable from the banks listed below:
i. Bank PHB Plc, 150 Bosso Road, Minna.
ii. Zenith International Bank Plc, 1 Bank Road, Minna.
iii. Intercontinental Bank Plc, Old Airport Road, Minna.
(b) Application form attracts a non refundable fee of N2, 500 payable in cash at the designated banks above.
(c) Completed application forms must be returned promptly to the Secretary, CPES on or before 23rd August, 2011.
(d) The Centre is not obliged to give reasons for rejecting any application nor will it enter correspondence on the subject matter with any applicant
Note:
i. Preference will be given to candidates from the University catchment area for admission.
ii. Forms obtained outside the designated banks will not be accepted.
