KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: – Responsible for operating the cutter to cut steel to different thicknesses using a plasma torch. – Responsible for regulating the gas/oxygene/air that is blown at high speed out of the nozzle. – Responsible for planning of work to meet deadlines – Minimize damage to steel being cut reducing waste – Understand various methods used to start arc Welding/cutting, applying the methods as required

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
EDUCATION: – Welding Trade test/Mechanical Engineering/Metallurgical Engineering
.
EXPERIENCE: – 5 years+
.
TECHNICAL COMPETENCES: – Gas Cutting / Plasma cutting Plates and
Profiles up to 50 MM thickness. – Also experience in welding Gas and Arc welding along with MIG welding experience preferred.

BEHAVIOURAL COMPETENCIES: – Interpersonal Skills,
-i Good Communication Skills, – Safety Awareness.
