Role Responsibilities: – To be responsible for all financial accounting issues, planning and risks for the business. – Ensure that internal financial controls are adequate and properly documented. – To develop financial reporting as
required by the business and deliver accurate and timely financial information to Board Members. – To support the business in dealing with NAPIMS, DPR and other relevant government agencies. – To support the Executive Management team in research into all factors that impact business performance including cost drivers. – To prepare annual budgets and department allocations, forecasts, adjustments and business plans. – To monitor and report on the financial performance of the business against the budget/ business plan. – To provide value added financial management information to facilitate decision making.

Qualifications: – BSc -Banking and finance or Accounting including any other higher degree. – 10 – 15 years of experience in Exploration and Production. – Financial experience in an oil and gas operations company. – Proficient with MS Office suite – especially Excel and other corporate software (Sun Accounts, QuickBooks etc.) – In-depth knowledge of all accounting principles and management accounting practices.

Personal qualities: – Should have excellent communication skills – A negotiating, persuasive and influencing skill is required for the role. – Self motivated, hardworking, mature, independent and practical – Excellent analytical and communication skills – Strong communication and presentation skills – Strong management and leadership skills – Close attention to detail.
