Child Life Line ("CLL") is a not-for profit Non-Governmental-Organisation ('NGO'), registered with the Nigerian Corporate Affairs Commission and based in Lagos, Nigeria. CLL was founded in 1994 with the aim of providing care and support to vulnerable and homeless children in Lagos.

RESPONSIBILITIES (key relationships – internally & externally):
1. Assess, and further develop, the overall framework for monitoring and evaluation of CLL operations, processes and programs, including regular reviews thereof.
2. Develop key performance indicators and lead the development, standardisation and deployment of tools that capture appropriate quantitative and qualitative data to be used in monitoring, evaluation and reporting.
3. Ensure the accuracy and completeness of all records maintained on all children accessing CLL services and facilities.
4. Provide monthly reports, through the PM, to the CLL Executive Committee (EC) on all M&E activities during the month in review, and half-yearly (or, more frequently as required or requested by the PM or EC) data analysis and evaluation reports.
5. Provide such monitoring and evaluation reports as are required by CLL funding partners in respect of any project or program.
6. Train CLL staff as necessary on the data collection tools and templates, and organise lessons learnt workshops/review of program work plans as appropriate.
7. Facilitate documentation and reporting of assessments, program data, lessons learnt and best practices for internal and external sharing.
8. Assist with supervision and provision of basic education to children accessing the CLL drop-in centre.
9. Provide feedback to the PM and EC on CLL strategies and activities, and contribute input and ideas on ways to improve the effectiveness and the efficiency of CLL's operations, programs or projects.
10. Undertake any other duties assigned by the PM or the EC as necessary.

SELECTION CRITERIA:
Essential knowledge/skills/attributes: – Degree in Sociology, Economics, Social Work or other related field. – Minimum of 2 years' experience in monitoring and evaluation and impact evaluation methodologies. – Strong IT skills and proficiency in Excel and all Microsoft office products. – Good written and oral communication skills. – Strong analytical skills. – Highly organised and able to work to deadlines. – Ability to work well as part of a small, integrated team. – Pro-active, confident, self-motivated individual.

Additionally desirable: – Experience working with children – Fluent Yoruba speaker.
