FOR the second time in a week, parts of Lagos were buried in the belly of flood yesterday.
This followed a heavy downpour, which came less than 72 hours after last Sunday's flood which swept away about 20 lives and valuables worth millions of naira in the state.
Yesterday's flood came as the residents were, again, woken up by a heavy downpour, which started in the early morning and lasted for several hours.
The Lagos state government has to do something very fast to the drainage systems in the state. The spate of flooding is becoming worrisome in the state.
Lagosians demand to have a good drainage system, to forestall future occurrence of loss of lives and property.
