Job Purpose: - The Warehouse Operations Leader will develop and lead cross functional teams towards a common goal holding the collective group accountable to game changing results that are sustainable and repeatable. . Responsibilities: - Develop, deploy and maintain distribution warehouse operational guidelines, standard operating procedures, and warehouse safety policies to ensure warehouse network operational standardization. - Develop and communicate warehouse projections on throughput and inventory from Supply Chain to enable proper planning of resources by distribution warehouse operations. - Decision making through determining operational priorities, resolving issues, resource, and talent management. - Identification of continuous improvement opportunities; escalation of issues; development and implementation of solutions to eliminate waste. - Develop and lead cross functional teams towards a common goal holding the collective group accountable to game changing results that are sustainable and repeatable. - Create a sustainable strategy and plan that will lead to effective metrics that enables a project's success. . Education/Experience: - Bachelor's Degree required; perferrably in a Supply Chain, Logistics or Industrial Engineering field - At least 5 years of relevant experience - Demonstrated leadership capabilities - Project management - Applying analytics to make decisions - Leading change - Been through business cycle.
