Job Title: Creative Writer Company: Genii Games Limited Job Type: Full Time Location: Lagos, Nigeria Job Field: Media / Advertising / Branding . Genii Games Limited is a company that primarily caters for the promotion and preservation of indigenous African Cultural values among kids using interactive media such as mobile apps. We are constantly re-imagining and creating products that provide kids with a fun and engaging experience to learn and appreciate their cultural values. Hence, we are searching for someone who is ambitious, fun, and creative to work with our team. . Job Purpose: - As creative writer, you will explore various channels and resources with the objective of providing clear structures and scripts for our content development. . - Also, you will maintain relationships with new and existing network of resource persons such as teachers, pedagogical experts etc. . Main Tasks and Responsibilities: • Curate contents for social media and blog • Create scripts around pre-defined themes for new products • Work with professionals such as educators and other content providers in creating uniform content structures and scripts for meeting defined objectives • Work with our team of designers, voiceover artistes etc. during content development sessions • Research into pedagogical trends for kids . Person Specification: - Our preferred candidate is one who demonstrates the following qualities: · Candidate should be bright, enthusiastic and willing to go the extra mile in meeting defined objectives · Candidate should have a good knowledge of Microsoft Word and text editing software. · Candidate must be confident enough to work on his or her own and be bursting with original content ideas · Possess good communication skills as candidate may be regularly involved in meetings. · Candidate must be willing to move freely around Lagos and outside when required in meeting content providers · A knack for social media with active engagement is an added advantage. · Willing to research into educational subjects around kids and African Cultures.
