Job Purpose: – As animator, your main task is to create feature level animations using defined cultural themes especially for kids.
Main Tasks and Responsibilities:
• Create and animate characters, environments and effects for children's educational resources
• Develop and manage asset pipelines
• Meet project milestones and deadline set by the team
• Work with a team of writers, concept artists, sound engineers, voice-over artists on storyboards/animatic to bring characters to life
• Animate concepts to meet defined audiences and themes
• Demonstrate a strong sense of performance posing, timing, weight and lip sync
• Deliver quality work in a timely manner

Person Specification:
· Proficiency in 2D or 3D modeling and animation tools such as Toon Boom, Adobe Flash, Autodesk Maya, Blender (please indicate the software you're most proficient at)
· Have good drawing skills using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
· Experience with an animation studio or participation in an animated short is an added advantage
· Great communication skills and enjoy working in a team
· Knowledge of After Effects is also an advantage
· Have a good working knowledge and understanding of the animation production cycle for multiple media/platforms (web, tv, games)
· Flexibility to develop animations for various uses – games, videos etc.
