Over time, cultism has been a major problem in tertiary institutions in Nigeria. The reason why cultism still grows its ugly head in Nigeria is that, 90% of our political leaders, if not all, belong to a one or more secret societies.

During and after election, cult members in tertiary institutions are used by politicians for election purpose or to hunt their political opponents. So, there is no way cultism would be eradicated in tertiary institutions. One way or the other, some politicians promote cultism either financially or morally.

Students should heed to advice and know that the future of the country is in their hands.
