A reputable NGO in Nigeria, is currently seeking to employ suitably qualified candidate for the position below for a new NGO capacity building program (Reproductive, Maternal, Newborn and Child Health (RMNCH).

Job Descriptions: – The Accountant will be responsible for ensuring sub-grantee NGO compliance with budgets, procurement policies, project guidelines and contractual financial obligations. – S/he will review expenditure requests of sub-grantee NGOs; review for compliance; produce reports; and coordinate with the Director, Grants and Finance Management.

Job Requirements: – The ideal candidate will have a university Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration with 2-5 years work experience carrying out similar functions with NGOs in development funded programs. – Possession of Chartered Accounting qualifications will be an added advantage. – The ideal candidate must also have excellent computer skills and competence in using accounting software. – This is a full-time position.
