Title: Amaechi: Why should FG dictate the wage I will pay my workers?
Post by: Compass on Jul 19, 2011, 03:02 PM
GOVERNOR Rotimi Amaechi of Rivers State yesterday queried the rationale behind the federalism practised in the country, saying as long as it is lopsided, there will be no equity, justice and peace.

Speaking on the N18,000 minimum wage crisis, the chairman of the Nigeria Governors' Forum (NGF) said if true federalism is practised in the country, it was wrong for the Federal Government to dictate how much should be paid to state workers.
