THE government and five legal teams that represented the failed Nigerian asylum seeker, Pamela Izevbekhai, have been left with "staggering" legal bills totalling more than N180 million (€1 million) that will never be repaid in Ireland.
Who will be responsible for the payment of expenses in-cured for the failed asylum request? The Irish Government?
With the economic crisis in Ireland, l doubt if the Irish government would ever pay such huge sum of money.

Just too much in the name of seeking asylum in foreign land. The cost is a bad debt. Those responsible for the expenses will bear the losses.
