The Transition Monitoring Group (TMG), a coalition of human rights, non-governmental and civil society organizations based in Abuja is seeking highly qualified and experienced Nigerian candidates for the following.
Job Title: National Coordinator
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
• Under the direct supervision of the coordinating committee of TMG will take the lead in the planning, designing/ formulation and fund-raising for projects.
• He/she will also be expected to contribute to policy dialogue and advocacy/ partnership development, and knowledge sharing/learning plus office/ corporate initiatives.
Minimum Qualifications and Working Experience:
• Good first degree or equivalent in humanities or social sciences or related field.
• At least five '(5) years of relevant work experience with NGO and coordination of networks, public sector organization or similar organizations.
Key Competencies
• Ability to think analytically and strategically and express ideas in a clear and articulate fashion.
• Capacity to work under pressure and meet deadlines, independently or in teams.
• Ability to raise funds
• Ability to adapt to a constantly changing work environment, and to establish and maintain good working relations with individuals/ groups of different cultural background and at different levels.
• Excellent command of both written and spoken English.
• Computer Literacy
This job is renewable after probation subject to satisfactory performance.
