Ayo Arise, a businessman, was elected in 2007 to represent Ekiti North Senatorial District in the Upper Chamber on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP). Although he lost the April general election, Arise strongly believes that the exercise was rigged by chieftains of the Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN).
No excuses. Performance will determine if ACN will continue to rule South-West. Once those elected meet up to electorates' expectation, then there will be no cause for alarm.
