Bayern Munich won the semi-final of the 2011 Audi cup competition against AC Milan on penalty. The match ended 1-1 at regulation time, but was extended to penalties, because a winner must emerge.
With the win, Bayern Munich have qualified for the final of the Audi cup, which will be played against Spanish and European champion, Barcelona.
