Ghana are more determine, serious, dedicated and commited. No wonder they are above us (Nigeria) in FIFA ranking
One of the problem with Nigeria Football is interference by Government and Football Authorities. The Government and the Nigeria football Federation (NFF) inter-fare with players selection and apply politics in the administration of football in the country.
Mos-times, Player(s) are imposed on national coaches. This is unethical in Football. Coaches ought to be given a free hand in selection and administration of players and other football matters which will help build a formidable team, as it is done in Europe and other established football playing nations.
Secondly, we rely so much on ready made player - foreign professionals and neglect grass root football, forgetting that the foreign players, were once amateur, plying their trade in Nigeria. We don't pay attention to grass root football and the local league.
To my best of knowledge, Ghana don't interfere in Players selection. Players are selected on merit, both local and foreign based.
